September is the busiest month of the year for me. So much is going on, with back-to-back weddings on the weekends, editing, the little one going back to school - you name it. In a constant search of balance, it can get a little overwhelming.
I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason; exactly as it should, when it should. That is exactly how I felt with my mentor and now good friend Erich McVey invited me to join him for another wedding up in Carmel in early September. I let out a huge sigh of relief and immediately jumped at the opportunity, accepting the job not just as another chance to work with one of the greats and to be in great company, but also to take some reflective time for myself. I opted to drive up alone, and hit the coast on the way back down to Los Angeles.
Below is a glimpse of what I saw as I made my way through Carmel & Big Sur, always light on pictures, so I can give myself more reasons to come back.
This is one of those important trips that I will never forget, hold close to my heart and use it as a reminder to continue filling myself with acceptance & gratitude.
Can you picture yourselves in these beautiful landscapes for either an engagement session or bridal portraits? Yeah, me too!
